With 2023 being the year of skincare trends – Skinimilism is here to save Aussies time and money by helping build a regimen to achieve healthy, glowing skin with only the necessary amounts of products.
The Body Shop’s Head of Training and Skincare Specialist, Sam Pope has provided her top tips when it comes to mastering Skinimilism and is available for interviews by request.
This comes as The Body Shop introduce the new Edelweiss Bouncy Eye Mask into their already existing Edelweiss range.

Top tips to slim down your skincare routine:
Focus on good daily rituals and prioritise finding a good cleanser, serum and moisturiser, plus an SPF.
Serums drive results, so get a good one!
Look at your product lineup, what aren’t you using? What haven’t you got results from? And slowly remove these items from your routine.
What are the must have products:
A cleanser that is gentle yet effective and perfectly balanced to your skin type. If you feel dry/tight after cleansing and want to reach for your moisturiser immediately afterwards, it’s likely the wrong cleanser for you.
A versatile and sophisticated serum is a must! Look for one that has a good blend of ingredients that will help your skin on multiple levels, such as our Edelweiss Daily Serum Concentrate with Hyaluronic Acid + Ceramides.
Same with your moisturiser, make sure it’s the right fit for your skin and don’t use too much! We often take more product than we need and get through it too quickly! A pea size amount is ample for your face, if you feel like you need more you might need a richer hydrator.
